Meet & Greet with Mayor Harka Sampang in the UK.
Purpose of the Tour:
• The primary aim of Mayor Saheb’s visit is to facilitate the exchange of ideas on how the Dharan diaspora can connect with Dharan Town and support its development.
• Given that Dharan holds historical significance as the birthplace of many serving British-Gurkha Army members, veterans, their families, friends, and relatives, the Mayor, his family, and media colleagues will visit various locations in the UK where the Dharan diaspora has settled. This will further strengthen ties between the UK and Nepal and provide opportunities for collaboration and support for Dharan’s future development.

announce the confirmation of our beloved Mayor Harkaraj Sampang Rai’s UK Tour 2024, scheduled from 17th October to
2nd November. This tour has been arranged and will be led by DSUK. As you may have already been informed through prior
messages broadcasted by our Tour and Event Coordinator, Vice President Bhaskar Rai, we encourage all our members,
friends, and families to participate and support this historic tour by the most beloved Mayor of our wonderful hometown,
Dharan.
